Our research policy aims to bridge clinical challenges with advancements in imaging diagnostic technology. This approach is grounded in fundamental and clinical research themes arising from daily clinical practice, with a vision towards the future of medical care.

Main Research Themes:

  1. Development of diagnostic imaging technology using artificial intelligence
  2. Establishment of optimal imaging parameters for digital PET/CT
  3. Development of MRI techniques for evaluating glucose, amino acid, and phosphorus metabolism, as well as oxygen and pH environments
  4. Establishment of functional and metabolic imaging techniques for predicting cancer treatment response and prognosis
  5. Establishment of early imaging diagnostic methods for pancreatic cancer and development of screening protocols based on cancer risk identification
  6. Development of rate constant imaging techniques with FDG PET/CT for predicting the proliferation of malignant tumors
  7. Establishment of comprehensive diagnostic strategies using CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine for cerebral circulation and myocardial blood flow
  8. Elucidation of diffuse liver diseases and establishment of morphological and functional metabolic imaging techniques for predicting liver function
