Professor Toida will be a Specially Appointed Professor at Ultra-High Pressure Electron Microscope Center, Osaka University as he did. So he is an appointed Professor at Osaka University again this year.

Kawasaki Medical Association lecture was held by Professor Kazuhisa Sugiyama at Department of Ophthalmology in Surgical Field in Kanazawa University. Professor Toida chaired the lecture.
We held a social gathering in the Kurashiki Bikan historical district as a welcome party for students planning to take “The Door to Medical Research” class in the Department of Anatomy.

Professor Bon-chu Chung of The Central Research Institute of Taiwan (Academia Sinica) was came to Kawasaki Medical School to have a seminar.
We entertained our guest Professor Chung with the Japanese traditional tea. As you see in the picture, Professor Toida whisked or stirred up a spoonful of powdered green tea with a ladleful of boiling water and then served it. He used his handmade bowls. We hoped that Professor Chung had a good time.
After the seminar, we held a social gathering in the Bikan Historical area in Kurashiki.
